Government Polytechnic Mirzapur is an older institute in Uttar Pradesh, established in 1964, that offers three-year diploma engineering courses in fields like Mechanical (Production), Civil, Electrical, Electronics, and Information Technology. Admission is through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by the UP Joint Entrance Examination Council, and the courses are approved by the AICTE and affiliated with the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education.
